My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

1. “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,”

b. little children [Strong: 5040. teknion tek-nee'-on diminutive of 5043; an infant, i.e. (plural figuratively) darlings (Christian converts):--little children.]


c. [of] whom [Strong: 3739. hos hos, including feminine he hay, and neuter ho ho probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article 3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]


d. [I] travail [in birth] [Strong:  5605. odino o-dee'-no from 5604; to experience the pains of parturition (literally or figuratively):--travail in (birth).]

1). This referring to conforming ourselves to Christ by obedience to His word through the grace of God. 


a). Romans 12:1, 2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


b). 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
