Another parable He set forth before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

1. “Another parable He set forth before them, saying…”

a. Another [Strong: 243. allos al'-los a primary word; "else," i.e. different (in many applications):--more, one (another), (an-, some an-)other(-s, -wise).]

b. parable [Strong: 3850. parabole par-ab-ol-ay' from 3846; a similitude ("parable"), i.e. (symbolic) fictitious narrative (of common life conveying a moral), apothegm or adage:--comparison, figure, parable, proverb.]

c. He set forth [Strong: 3908. paratithemi par-at-ith'-ay-mee from 3844 and 5087; to place alongside, i.e. present (food, truth); by implication, to deposit (as a trust or for protection):--allege, commend, commit (the keeping of), put forth, set before.]
