Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

1. “Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.”

h. [and are the] offscouring [Strong: 4067 perípsōma, per-ip'-so-mah; from a comparative of G4012 and ψάω psáō (to rub); something brushed all around, i.e. off-scrapings (figuratively, scum):—offscouring.]

i. [of] all [things] [Strong: 3956 pâs, pas; including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:—all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), × daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.]

j. unto [Strong: 2193 héōs, heh'-oce; of uncertain affinity; a conjunction, preposition and adverb of continuance, until (of time and place):—even (until, unto), (as) far (as), how long, (un-)til(-l), (hither-, un-, up) to, while(-s).]

k. this day [Strong: 737 árti, ar'-tee; adverb from a derivative of G142 (compare G740) through the idea of suspension; just now:—this day (hour), hence(-forth), here(-after), hither(-to), (even) now, (this) present.]
