Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

1. “Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.”

a. Wherefore [Strong: 5620 hṓste, hoce'-teh; from G5613 and G5037; so too, i.e. thus therefore (in various relations of consecution, as follow):—(insomuch) as, so that (then), (insomuch) that, therefore, to, wherefore.]

b. my [Strong: 3420 moû, moo; the simpler form of G1700; of me:—I, me, mine (own), my.]

c. brethren [Strong: 80 adelphós, ad-el-fos'; from G1 (as a connective particle) and δελφύς delphýs (the womb); a brother (literally or figuratively) near or remote (much like G1):—brother.]

i. one for another [Strong: 240 allḗlōn, al-lay'-lone; Genitive plural from G243 reduplicated; one another:—each other, mutual, one another, (the other), (them-, your-)selves, (selves) together (sometimes with G3326 or G4314).]
