Isaiah 64:4
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, besides thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
a. NLT: For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you,
who works for those who wait for him!

1). This verse is quoted by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians when discussing revelation of spiritual truth. Here we can see the differences in the two covenants.
a). 1 Corinthians 2:6-10 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world for our glory:
2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

d. [for him that] waiteth [for him] [2442 * chakah] [Strong: a primitive root (apparently akin to 2707 through the idea of piercing); properly, to adhere to; hence, to await:--long, tarry, wait.]
1). In the Old Covenant the secrets of the kingdom were not revealed, but in the New Covenant they are revealed. Jesus began to reveal the secrets of the kingdom in his ministry.
a). Matthew 13:34, 35 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
c. The rest of the revelation of the New Covenant was revealed through Paul.
1). Galatians 1:11, 12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
