Jeremiah 30:5

For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

a. ASV: For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

1. “For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling…”

2. “...of fear, and not of peace.”

1). The Covenant made with the nation of Israel will be broken in the middle of it (Daniel 9:27). The time of Jacob’s trouble will begin. Two-thirds of the nation will be exterminated (Zechariah 13:8, 9; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3).
