Lamentations 3:22

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

a. ASV: It is of Jehovah’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

b. YLT: The kindnesses of Jehovah! For we have not been consumed, For not ended have His mercies.

c. Amplified Bible Classic: It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.

d. Septuagint: [It is] the mercies of the Lord, that he has not failed me, because his compassions are not exhausted. Pity [us], O Lord, early [every] month: for we are not brought to an end, because his compassions are not exhausted.

1. “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed...

b. mercies [Strong: 2617 cheçed, kheh'-sed; from H2616; kindness; by implication (towards God) piety; rarely (by opposition) reproof, or (subjectively) beauty:—favour, good deed(-liness, -ness), kindly, (loving-) kindness, merciful (kindness), mercy, pity, reproach, wicked thing.]

1). It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we are saved.

a). Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
