Jeremiah 52:8

But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.

1. “But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho…”

a. 2. “...and all his army was scattered from him.”

1). When the Scripture says “his army was scattered from him” it meant that when he and his army fled that they went out two different ways.

a). Jeremiah 39:4  And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.
