Genesis 4:10


And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

c. blood [Strong: 1818 dam dawm from 1826 (Compare 119); blood (as that which when shed causes death) of man or an animal; by analogy, the juice of the grape; figuratively (especially in the plural) bloodshed (i.e. drops of blood):--blood(-y, -guiltiness, (-thirsty), + innocent.]


d. crieth [Strong: 6817 tsa`aq tsaw-ak' a primitive root; to shriek; (by implication) to proclaim (an assembly):--X at all, call together, cry (out), gather (selves) (together).]

1). The voice of Abel’s blood cried out to God from the ground. We don’t know what it said but the New Testament says that the blood of Jesus said better things than Abel’s blood. The whole of the New Covenant, beginning with the resurrection of Christ and the empowerment of the new Covenant is all based on the sinless blood of Christ Jesus.


a). Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.


b). Hebrews 13:20, 21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
