When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

2. “...a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.”


a. d. [on the] earth [Strong: 776 'erets eh'-rets from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):--X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X natins, way, + wilderness, world.]


1). I believe that the curse “above” in Genesis 4:11 Stone Edition Jewish Translation, or worse than is appropriate because the ground had already been cursed because of Adam’s transgression. The curse was worse with Cain.
