And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

1. “And Zacharias was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him.”

a. b. Zacharias [Strong: 2197 Zacharías, dzakh-ar-ee'-as; of Hebrew origin (H2148); Zacharias (i.e. Zechariah), the name of two Israelites:—Zacharias.]

c. [was] troubled [Strong: 5015 tarássō, tar-as'-so; of uncertain affinity; to stir or agitate (roil water):—trouble.]

[when he] saw [him] [Strong: 3708 horáō, hor-ah'-o; properly, to stare at (compare G3700), i.e. (by implication) to discern clearly (physically or mentally); by extension, to attend to; by Hebraism, to experience; passively, to appear:—behold, perceive, see, take heed.]
