Genesis 17:7
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy
seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God
unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to
generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the
God of your descendants after you.

1). The “seed”
and the “covenant” God was specifically speaking of was with Isaac.
a). Genesis
17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto
thee at this set time in the next year.
2). After
Christ there was a New Covenant that included all, whosoever will, those born
again through Jesus Christ.
a). Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then
are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
b). Galatians
3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to
seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
3). We have been grafted into
Israel.
a). Romans 11:24 For if thou wert
cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to
nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own
olive tree?
4). The
ultimate fulfillment of this passage is during and after the Millennial Reign
of Christ Jesus.
