Romans 1:19
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them;
for God hath shewed it unto them.

1). There are only two times in
world history when this could have happened, after the fall of man and after
the flood of Noah. There had to be a falling away in both instances. The
details may be a little different but the result was the same. The details
given in this account in Romans probably fit the after flood scene better. God
made himself known to these people. He manifested himself to them. These events
took place around the first three centuries after the flood of Noah.
