57:4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.
57:5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

2. “…then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it…”

1). The same Hebrew word is used to describe Lucifer’s polluting or staining of sanctuaries in his rebellion against God when he originally fell in the distant past.

a). Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

2). Hebrew apostates who celebrated and worshipped in child sacrifice defiled God’s sanctuary in the same way Lucifer defiled God’s sanctuaries when he rebelled and was kicked out of heaven. Pro-abortion professing Christians also defile the Temple of God in a similar manner.

a). 1 Corinthians 3:16-20  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
