1 Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing.

a. NLT: Never stop praying.

b. NIV: Pray continually,
    
c. YLT: Continually pray ye;

d. Amplified Bible Classic: Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly];

e. Worrell Translation: Pray without ceasing.

f. Wuest Translation: Be praying unceasingly.

1. “Pray without ceasing.”

a. Pray [Strong: 4336 proseuchomai pros-yoo'-khom-ahee from 4314 and 2172; to pray to God, i.e. supplicate, worship:--pray (X earnestly, for), make prayer.]

b. without ceasing [Strong: 89 adialeiptos ad-ee-al-ipe'-toce adverb from 88; uninterruptedly, i.e. without omission (on an appropriate occasion):--without ceasing.]

1). I is possible to pray without ceasing, by being in a spirit of prayer always. Remember God is within us because we are born again.

a). Romans 12:12  Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

b). Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
