Philippians 3:5
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
a. NLT: I was circumcised when I was eight days old. I am a pure-blooded citizen of Israel and a member of the tribe of Benjamin—a real Hebrew if there ever was one! I was a member of the Pharisees, who demand the strictest obedience to the Jewish law.
b. NIV: Circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;

1. “Circumcised the eighth day…”
a. Circumcised [Strong: 4061 peritome per-it-om-ay' from 4059; circumcision (the rite, the condition or the people, literally or figuratively):--X circumcised, circumcision.]
b. the eighth day [Strong: 3637 oktaemeros ok-tah-ay'-mer-os from 3638 and 2250; an eight-day old person or act:--the eighth day.]
1). Under the law of Moses Jewish males were to be circised on the eithth day after their birth.
a). Leviticus 12:1-3 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
12:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
2. “…of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews…”

3. “…as touching the law, a Pharisee.”
