Acts 15:37

And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

a. NLT: Barnabas agreed and wanted to take along John Mark.

b. NIV: Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them,

c. YLT: And Barnabas counseled to take with them John called Mark,

d. Amplified Bible Classic: Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John called Mark [his near relative].

e. Worrell Translation: And Barnabas was desiring to take with them John also, who was called mark.

f. Wuest Translation: Now, Barnabas, after thinking the matter over, kept on insisting that they take long with them also John, the one called Mark.

1). John Mark was related to Barnabas and had been on the first missionary tour but left ner the beginning.

a). Acts 13:13  Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
