Numbers 16:41

But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

a. NLT: But the very next morning the whole community of Israel began muttering again against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people!”

2. “…Ye have killed the people of the LORD.”

a. 1). This is incredible. One of the most awesome and terrifying demonstrations of the wrath of God in the Old Testament. The earth literally opens up and swallows a bunch of rebels mounting a challenge to Moses’s and Aaron’s authority and they blame Moses and Aaron as if they had the ability to open up the earth.
