Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

The Millennial Kingdom, John Walvoord, p.317, 318: “Another important factor in the millennium is the fact that the curse which descended upon the physical world because of Adam’s sin is apparently lifted during the millennium. According to the prophet Isaiah: The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad: and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon: they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God” (Isaiah 35:1, 2). I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

1). The time context of this is after the return of Christ. Israel will recognize Christ as their Messiah and as a nation will declare Him Lord. This passage is referring to Israel as a nation being born again. This phrase a new spirit and a new heart is referring to the New Birth of the New Covenant. 

a). 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

b). Titus 3:4, 5 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

2). Israel shall be saved as a nation, it is an Old Covenant promise, but will not be fulfilled until the return of Christ.

a). Romans 11:25-27 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

3). After the return of Christ and the rebirth of Israel, the establishing of Christ’s Millennial Reign begins, during which all the passages referring to the millennial Reign of Christ in the Prophets are fulfilled.
