Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

1). This Hebrew word translated “treasure” in the King James is never translated “treasure” anywhere else in its use. It is always translated “stroe” or “storehouses”.

2). One of the points to be made is that the Jews were the slaves/craftsmen who built cities and when freed from slavery were able to use their talents and abilities to build the tabernacle. They were highly qualified in their fields. Add to that the wisdom and inspiration of the LORD and you have a Dream Team.
