And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

1). Paul spent a total of three years in Ephesus (Acts 20:31). Three months here in this verse, two years in the school of Tyrannus (Acts 19:9, 10). Then nine months from Acts 19:11-20, for  Immediately after the riot of Acts 19:21-41, Paul left for Macedonia. 

2. “...disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.”

a. disputing [Strong: 1256. dialegomai dee-al-eg'-om-ahee middle voice from 1223 and 3004; to say thoroughly, i.e. discuss (in argument or exhortation):--dispute, preach (unto), reason (with), speak.]
