And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;

1. “And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was…”

In composition (as a prefix) it usually denotes separation, departure, cessation, completion, reversal, etc.]


e. Celicia [Strong: 2791. Kilikia kil-ik-ee'-ah probably of foreign origin; Cilicia, a region of Asia Minor:--Cilicia.]
