1. Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

a. [Or, who] shut up [Strong: 5526 çâkak, saw-kak'; or שָׂכַךְ sâkak; (Exodus 33:22), a primitive root; properly, to entwine as a screen; by implication, to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect:—cover, defence, defend, hedge in, join together, set, shut up.]
