d. Amplified Bible: Abraham went up early the next morning to the place where he [only the day before] had stood before the Lord.

e. Septuagint: And Abraam rose up early to go to the place, where he had stood before the Lord.

f. Stone Edition Torah/Writings/Prophets: Abrahamarose early in the morning to the place where he had stood before HASHEM.

1. “And Abraham gat up early in the morning…”

a. Abraham [85 * Abraham] [Strong: contracted from 1 and an unused root (probably meaning to be populous); father of a multitude; Abraham, the later name of Abram:--Abraham.]

b. gat up early [7925 * shakam] [Strong: a primitive root; properly, to incline (the shoulder to a burden); but used only as denominative from 7926; literally, to load up (on the back of man or beast), i.e. to start early in the morning:--(arise, be up, get (oneself) up, rise up) early (betimes), morning.]

c. morning [1242 * boqer] [Strong:  from 1239; properly, dawn (as the break of day); generally, morning:--(+) day, early, morning, morrow.]

2. “…to the place where he stood before the LORD.”

a. place [4725 * maqowm] [Strong: from 6965; properly, a standing, i.e. a spot; but used widely of a locality (general or specific); also (figuratively) of a condition (of body or mind):--country, X home, X open, place, room, space, X whither(-soever).]

b. where he stood [5975 * ‘amad] [Strong: a primitive root; to stand, in various relations (literal and figurative, intransitive and transitive):--abide (behind), appoint, arise, cease, confirm, continue, dwell, be employed, endure, establish, leave, make, ordain, be (over), place, (be) present (self), raise up, remain, repair, + serve, set (forth, over, -tle, up), (make to, make to be at a, with-)stand (by, fast, firm, still, up), (be at a) stay (up), tarry.]

c. before [6440 * paniym] [Strong: a primitive root; to stand, in various relations (literal and figurative, intransitive and transitive):--abide (behind), appoint, arise, cease, confirm, continue, dwell, be employed, endure, establish, leave, make, ordain, be (over), place, (be) present (self), raise up, remain, repair, + serve, set (forth, over, -tle, up), (make to, make to be at a, with-)stand (by, fast, firm, still, up), (be at a) stay (up), tarry.]

d. LORD [3068 * Yehovah] [Strong: from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:--Jehovah, the Lord.]

1). The place where he stood before the LORD is of course Mamre. If the cities of the plain were located south east of the plains of Mamre as some locate them, then it is about a 40 mile distance to the south east. So from 40 miles away Abraham could see not only Sodom & Gomorrah in flames but also to other cities as well.
