Romans 14:19

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

a. ASV: So then let us follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another.
  
b. YLT: So, then, the things of peace may we pursue, and the things of building up one another;
d. Amplified Bible Classic:So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another.
1. “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace…”

a. [Let us] therefore [Strong: 686 ára, ar'-ah; probably from G142 (through the idea of drawing a conclusion); a particle denoting an inference more or less decisive (as follows):—haply, (what) manner (of man), no doubt, perhaps, so be, then, therefore, truly, wherefore. Often used in connection with other particles, especially G1065 or G3767 (after) or G1487(before).]
b. [Strong: 3767 oûn, oon; apparently a primary word; (adverbially) certainly, or (conjunctionally) accordingly:—and (so, truly), but, now (then), so (likewise then), then, therefore, verily, wherefore.]

d. the things [which make for] [Strong: 3588 ho, ho; the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):—the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.
e. peace [Strong: 1515 eirḗnē, i-ray'-nay; probably from a primary verb εἴρω eírō (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication, prosperity:—one, peace, quietness, rest, +set at one again.]
  
2.  “...and things wherewith one may edify another.”

a. and [Strong: 2532 kaí, kahee; apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:—and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]
