Romans 14:21
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
a. ASV: It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything whereby thy brother stumbleth.
b. YLT: Right it is not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything in which thy brother doth stumble, or is made to fall, or is weak.
d. Amplified Bible Classic: The right thing is to eat no meat or drink no wine [at all], or [do anything else] if it makes your brother stumble or hurts his conscience or offends or weakens him.
1. “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth…”
