Romans 15:7

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

a. ASV: Wherefore receive ye one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.

1. “Wherefore receive ye one another…”

a. Wherefore [Strong: 3152 dió, dee-o'; from G1223 and G3739; through which thing, i.e. consequently:—for which cause, therefore, wherefore.]

b. receive [ye] [Strong: 4355 proslambánō, pros-lam-ban'-o; from G4314 and G2983; to take to oneself, i.e. use (food), lead (aside), admit (to friendship or hospitality):—receive, take (unto).]

c. one another [Strong: 240 allḗlōn, al-lay'-lone; Genitive plural from G243 reduplicated; one another:—each other, mutual, one another, (the other), (them-, your-)selves, (selves) together (sometimes with G3326 or G4314).]

2. “...as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”
