Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

Classic Amplified: [In celebration of the Passover in future years] seven days shall you eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven [symbolic of corruption] out of your houses; for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.

d. Septuagint:  Seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread, and from the first day ye shall utterly remove leaven from your houses: whoever shall eat leaven, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from Israel, from the first day until the seventh day.

e. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/ Writings:  For a seven day period shall you eat matzos, but on the previous day, you shall nullify the leaven from your homes; for anyone who eats leavened food, that soul shall be cut off from israel, from the first day to the seventh day.

1). Because the Feast of Unleavened Bread follows Passover, these two Feasts are blurred together and it is sometimes referred to as the eight days of Passover.
