So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

1. “So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:”

i. diseases [Strong: 769. astheneia as-then'-i-ah from 772; feebleness (of mind or body); by implication, malady; morally, frailty:--disease, infirmity, sickness, weakness.]

o. [were] healed [Strong: 2323. therapeuo ther-ap-yoo'-o from the same as 2324; to wait upon menially, i.e. (figuratively) to adore (God), or (specially) to relieve (of disease):--cure, heal, worship.

Surely Paul preached as the people came to him. As a prisoner he was not free to travel the island. The miracles brought the people to him. The name of Jesus Christ  was published over the island.
