Job 39:14
Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust.
a. ASV: For she leaveth her eggs on the earth, And warmeth them in the dust,

1. “Which leaveth her eggs in the earth…”
a. Which [Strong: 3588 kiy kee a primitive particle (the full form of the prepositional prefix) indicating causal relations of all kinds, antecedent or consequent; (by implication) very widely used as a relative conjunction or adverb (as below); often largely modified by other particles annexed:--and, + (forasmuch, inasmuch, where-)as, assured(-ly), + but, certainly, doubtless, + else, even, + except, for, how, (because, in, so, than) that, + nevertheless, now, rightly, seeing, since, surely, then, therefore, + (al- )though, + till, truly, + until, when, whether, while, whom, yea, yet.]
b. leaveth [Strong: 5800 `azab aw-zab' a primitive root; to loosen, i.e. relinquish, permit, etc.:--commit self, fail, forsake, fortify, help, leave (destitute, off), refuse, X surely.]
c. [her] eggs [Strong: 1000 beytsah bay-tsaw' from the same as 948; an egg (from its whiteness):--egg.]
d. [in the] earth [Strong: 776 'erets eh'-rets from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):--X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X natins, way, + wilderness, world.
2. “...and warmeth them in dust.”

1). The mothering skills of the ostrich are nothing compared to other species that God has created. Elephants are great mothers, Polar Bears are great mothers. It all depends on the wisdom that God has given to each species. It is the same with the hunting skills of a predator and the survival skills of the prey.
