Proverbs 30:26

The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

a. ASV: The conies are but a feeble folk, Yet make they their houses in the rocks;

1. “The conies are but a feeble folk…”

a. [The] conies [Strong: 8227 shaphan shaw-fawn' from 8226; a species of rock-rabbit (from its hiding), i.e. probably the hyrax:--coney.]

b. [are but a] feeble [Strong: 6099 `atsuwm aw-tsoom' or matsum {aw-tsoom'}; passive participle of 6105; powerful (specifically, a paw); by implication, numerous:--+ feeble, great, mighty, must, strong.]

c.
