  1 Corinthians 3:17

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

a. ASV: If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye. [Thomas Nelson & Sons first published the American Standard Version in 1901. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.]

b. YLT: If any one the sanctuary of God doth waste, him shall God waste; for the sanctuary of God is holy, the which ye are. [The Young's Literal Translation was translated by Robert Young, who believed in a strictly literal translation of God's word. This version of the Bible is in the public domain.]

c. Classic Amplified: If anyone does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it [[e]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him.
