I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

1. “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

c. Apollos [Strong: 625. Apollos ap-ol-loce' probably from the same as 624; Apollos, an Israelite:--Apollos.]

d. watered [Strong: 4222. potizo pot-id'-zo from a derivative of the alternate of 4095; to furnish drink, irrigate:--give (make) to drink, feed, water.]

e. but [Strong: 235. alla al-lah' neuter plural of 243; properly, other things, i.e. (adverbially) contrariwise (in many relations):--and, but (even), howbeit, indeed, nay, nevertheless, no, notwithstanding, save, therefore, yea, yet.]
