f. Stone Edition Torah/Writings/Prophets: And they sacrificed their sons and daughters to the demons.

1. “…they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils…”

a. sacrificed [2076 * zabach][Strong: a primitive root; to slaughter an animal (usually in sacrifice):--kill, offer, (do) sacrifice, slay.]

b. sons [1121 * ben][Strong: a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc., (like 1, 251, etc.)):--+ afflicted, age, (Ahoh-) (Ammon-) (Hachmon-) (Lev-)ite, (anoint-)ed one, appointed to, (+) arrow, (Assyr-) (Babylon-) (Egypt-) (Grec-)ian, one born, bough, branch, breed, + (young) bullock, + (young) calf, X came up in, child, colt, X common, X corn, daughter, X of first, + firstborn, foal, + very fruitful, + postage, X in, + kid, + lamb, (+) man, meet, + mighty, + nephew, old, (+) people, + rebel, + robber, X servant born, X soldier, son, + spark, + steward, + stranger, X surely, them of, + tumultuous one, + valiant(-est), whelp, worthy, young (one), youth.]

1). Paul wrote under the inspiration of God that offering any sacrifice to any idol is sacrificing to devils.

2). 1 Corinthians 10:19, 20 What say I then? that the idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything?
10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

e. This Psalm is anonymous, we don’t know who wrote it. We also don’t know when it was written. The history of these verses, Psalm 106:37, 38 indicate they were practicing human sacrifice. I may be wrong but this did not occur until sometime in the 8th century B.C for Israel and sometime in the 7th century B.C for Judah. In both kingdoms history, child sacrifice preceded their fall. In light of this, these verses may have been written after both incidents. In the Stone Edition of the Torah, Writings and Prophets there is a note under the verses Psalm 106:36-46: Intermittently, throughout the periods of the Judges and the Kings.
