Afterward
he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their
unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen
him after he was risen.

later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He
rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those
who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead.

Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their
lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him
after he had risen.

as they are reclining (at meat), he was manifested to the eleven, and did

Their unbelief the disciples exhibited
violated the law, for the law required two witnesses for a matter to be
established.

the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the
matter be established.
