Matthew 13:58

And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

a. NLT: And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.

b. NIV: And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

1. “And he did not many mighty works there…”

e. mighty works [1411 * dunamis] [Strong: from 1410; force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.]

f. there [1563 * ekei] [Strong: of uncertain affinity; there; by extension, thither:--there, thither(-ward), (to) yonder (place).]

2. “…because of their unbelief.”

c. unbelief [570 * apaistia] [Strong: from 571; faithlessness, i.e. (negatively) disbelief (lack of Christian faith), or (positively) unfaithfulness (disobedience):--unbelief.] [Zodhiates: Faithlessness or uncertainty, distrust, unbelief.]
