Deuteronomy 32:32
For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

1. “For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah…”

2. “...their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:”

1). This shows us that the area of Sodom and Gomorrah were prosperous. They had vineyards that produced grapes, raisins, and wine. It was well watered.
a). Genesis 13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
2). Jesus said that the area was commercially active.
