And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

1. “And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee…”

a. [And in the] wilderness [Strong: 4057 midbâr, mid-bawr'; from H1696 in the sense of driving; a pasture (i.e. open field, whither cattle are driven); by implication, a desert; also speech (including its organs):—desert, south, speech, wilderness.]

1). The ridiculousness of their false accusations is revealed by the faithfulness of their Covenant God while they were in Egypt and His proving himself to them, by their deliverance and taking care of them up to this point.
