Romans 2:10
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh
good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
1. “But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh
good…”

hel'-lane from 1671; a Hellen (Grecian) or inhabitant of Hellas; by
extension a Greek-speaking person, especially a non-Jew:-- Gentile, Greek.]
1). 1). Paul as a Messianic Jew always
went first to the Jew and then to the Gentile, in that order. In Acts 13:5 they
preached the word in Jewish synagogues, and in Acts 13:14 Paul went first into
the synagogue at Antioch in Pisidia. When the Jews for the most part rejected
the gospel in that city, Paul and Barnabas’s reaction was then went to the
Gentiles’
a). Acts 13:45-49 But when the
Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those
things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed
bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been
spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of
everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
13:47 For so hath the Lord
commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou
shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
13:48 And when the Gentiles heard
this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were
ordained to eternal life believed.
13:49 And the word of the Lord was
published throughout all the region.
2). Yet in the very next town Paul
went first into the synagogue.
a). Acts 14:1 And it came to pass
in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so
spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
