Romans 3:9
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise:
for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
1. “What then? are we better than they…”

probably emphatic of 5100; an interrogative pronoun, who, which or what (in
direct or indirect questions):--every man, how (much), + no(-ne, thing), what
(manner, thing), where (-by, -fore, -of, -unto, - with, -withal), whether,
which, who(-m, -se), why.]
b. then [Strong: 3767 oun oon
apparently a primary word; (adverbially) certainly, or (conjunctionally)
accordingly:--and (so, truly), but, now (then), so (likewise then), then,
therefore, verily, wherefore.]
c. are we better [than they] [Strong:
4284 proechomai pro-ekh-om-ahee middle voice from 4253 and 2192;
to hold oneself before others, i.e. (figuratively) to excel:--be better.
2. “…No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and
Gentiles, that they are all under sin;”
a. No [Strong: 3756 ou oo,
also (before a vowel) ouk ook, and (before an aspirate) ouch ookh a primary
word; the absolute negative (compare 3361) adverb; no or not:--+ long, nay,
neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy),

pan'-toce adverb from 3956; entirely; specially, at all events, (with
negative, following) in no event:--by all means, altogether, at all, needs, no
doubt, in (no) wise, surely.]

a primary particle; properly, assigning a reason (used in argument, explanation
or intensification; often with other particles):--and, as, because (that), but,
even, for, indeed, no doubt, seeing, then, therefore, verily, what, why, yet.]
d. we have before proved [Strong:
4256 proaitiaomai pro-ahee-tee-ah'-om-ahee from 4253 and a
derivative of 156; to accuse already, i.e. previously charge:--prove before.]
e. both [Strong: 5037 te teh
a primary particle (enclitic) of connection or addition; both or also
(properly, as correlation of 2532):--also, and, both, even, then, whether.
Often used in composition, usually as the latter participle.]
f. Jews [Strong: 2453 Ioudaios
ee-oo-dah'-yos from 2448 (in the sense of 2455 as a country); Judaean,
i.e. belonging to Jehudah:--Jew(-ess), of Judaea.]
g. and [Strong: 2532 kai kahee
apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a
cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection
(or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but,
even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]
h. Gentiles [Strong: 1672 Hellen
hel'-lane from 1671; a Hellen (Grecian) or inhabitant of Hellas; by extension
a Greek-speaking person, especially a non-Jew:-- Gentile, Greek.]

i'-nahee present infinitive from 1510; to exist:--am, was. come, is, X
lust after, X please well, there is, to be, was.]

including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any,
every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, +
ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever,
whole, whosoever.]

hoop-o' a primary preposition; under, i.e. (with the genitive case) of

accusative case) of place (whither (underneath) or where (below) or time (when

the same general applications, especially of inferior position or condition,

ham-ar-tee'-ah from 264; a sin (properly abstract):--offence, sin(-ful).]
1). Every human being born on this
planet is under the judgment of sin. Every human being who does not get born
again, does not receive the righteousness of God which they get when they get
born again, will go to hell when they die.
