And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

1. “And after they had tarried there a space…”

2. “...they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.”


a. [they were] let go [Strong: 630. apoluo ap-ol-oo'-o from 575 and 3089; to free fully, i.e. (literally) relieve, release, dismiss (reflexively, depart), or (figuratively) let die, pardon or (specially) divorce:--(let) depart, dismiss, divorce, forgive, let go, loose, put (send) away, release, set at liberty.]
