 2 Kings 14:27

And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

2. “...but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.”

1). Even in Israel’s apostasy there were times when God came to their rescue, because he is good, and God was merciful to them. He was reaching out to them to repent.

a). Romans 2:4 [Classic Amplified] Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent ([a]to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)?
