And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.

1). For many years growing up in Christ I heard that under the Old Covenant it was all about the Law, with little or no grace and under the New Covenant it is all grace. I have since found out that there was grace under the Old Covenant, but not as much as the New Covenant. Praise God, Ezra here is praising and thanking God for a secure place in relationship with God, and God enlightening his eyes and reviving him, and it was grace, Praise God.
