Isaiah 4:5
And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

1). Every dwelling and every house will have the physical presence of the LORD.
2. “…and upon her assemblies…”

3. “…a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night…”

Each dwelling will have a pillar of cloud by day and a flaming fire by night just as it was during the 40 years in the desert.

4. “…for upon all the glory shall be a defence.”

c. Perhaps now we can see the significance of these passages, not just in New Covenant understanding.
1). Isaiah 62:3-5 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
62:5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
2). Mount Zion Jerusalem will be covered by a protective wedding huppah by God.
