Acts 2:27
Because
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to
see corruption.

David confidently and boldly declared that God will not leave his [David’s]
soul in hell. Hell at this time [David’s time] was in the center of the earth
and had different compartments. Part of hell was divided into two parts, a
great gulf divided the righteous and the unrighteous.

After his resurrection Jesus took the righteous dead in Abraham’s bosom to heaven.
This what the phrase “he led captivity captive” means.

The Holy One is of course is not only speaking of Jesus, the Holy One is God
Almighty and Jesus.
