Genesis 4:3

Genesis 4:3

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

a. NLT: When it was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his crops as a gift to the LORD.

b. NIV: In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD.

c. YLT: And it cometh to pass at the end of days that Cain bringeth from the fruit of the ground a present to Jehovah;

d. Amplified Bible: And in the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground.

e. Septuagint: And it was so after some time that Cain brought of the fruits of the earth a sacrifice to the Lord.

f. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings: After a period of time, Cain brought an offering to HASHEM of the fruit of the ground.

e. an offering [4503 * minchah] [Strong:  from an unused root meaning to apportion, i.e. bestow; a donation; euphemistically, tribute; specifically a sacrificial offering (usually bloodless and voluntary):--gift, oblation, (meat) offering, present, sacrifice.]

f. unto the LORD [3068 * Yhovah] [Strong: from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:--Jehovah, the Lord.]

1). Looking at just this verse it appears there is nothing worng with Cains’ offering.
