Hebrews 6:19
Which hope we have as an anchor of the
soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
a. NLT: This hope is a strong and
trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s
inner sanctuary.
b. NIV: We
have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner
sanctuary behind the curtain,
c. YLT: which
we have, as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and entering into
that within the vail,
d. Amplified Bible: [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure
and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under
whoever steps out upon it—a hope] that reaches farther and enters
into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil,
e. Worrell Translation: which we
have as an acchor of the soul, both sure and firm, and entering into the place
within the veil;
