Hebrews 3:12

Hebrews 3:12

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

a. NLT: Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.

b. NIV: See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

c. YLT: See, brethren, lest there shall be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in the falling away from the living God,

d. Amplified Bible Classic: [Therefore beware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God.

e. Worrell Translation: Take heed brethren, lest at any time there shall be in anyone of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.

f. Wuest Translation: Take heed constantly, brethren, lest there be in any one of you a heart perniciously evil with unbelief in standing aloof from the living God.
