4:13
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but
all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have
to do.
a. NLT: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God.
Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we
are accountable.
b. NIV: Nothing in all creation is hidden from
God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to
whom we must give account.
c. YLT: And there is not a created thing not
manifest before Him, but all things are naked and open to His eyes --
with whom is our reckoning.
d. Amplified Bible Classic: And not a creature
exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and
exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to
do.
e. Worrell Translation: And there is no creature
that is not manifest in His presence; but all things are naked and laid bare to
the eyes of Him with Whome is our account.
f. Wuest Translation: And there is not a thing
created which is hidden from His sight. But all things are naked and laid bare
to His eyes, to whome we must give account.
1. “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight…”
a. Neither [Strong: 2532 kai kahee
apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a
cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection
(or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even,

from the particle au (perhaps akin to the base of 109 through the idea of a
baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the
comparative 1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun)
of the other persons:--her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said,
(self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that,

1). This gives a masculine gender to “the word of
God.
a). John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God.
b). John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth.
2. “…but all things are naked and opened
unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

1). We are going to give account to Christ and the
Judgment Seat of Christ.
a). Romans 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy
brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand
before the judgment seat of Christ.
10:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord,
every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
10:12 So then every one of us shall give account of
himself to God.
b). 2 Corinthians 5:9, 10 Wherefore we labour,
that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2). He is our judge, but He is also our High Priest
who presides over a Throne of grace and mercy.
