And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

2). Notice that Jeroboam (1 Kings 12:33) and Aaron (Exodus 32:5) both invented feast days in their idolatry.

These examples found in Judges of the man named Micah and 1 Kings 12:31 of Jeroboam’s inventing a priesthood are disobedience and departing from the truth of the Scripture that the only God sanctioned priesthood was the Aaronic family from the tribe of Levi. Micah’s and Jeroboam’s priesthood’s are bastard priesthoods similar to Roman Catholicism and their priesthood. In the New Covenant every born again believer is a priest unto God, a royal priesthood.
